Eugene Stevens

Eugene was born on November 29, 1930 in Gering, Nebraska and died on March 23, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn at the age of 86; he was of Taylor. Beloved husband of 63 years to Barbara. Loving dad of Mark (Ashley), Dale (Kim), Lori (Julian) Santellan, Lisa Jump, Karen (Gregg) Hitchcock and Susan Martinelli. Proud grandpa of 14 and great grandpa of 20. Dearest brother of Anne Stevens. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Amos and Carolina (nee: Baker) Stevens, one brother John Stevens and his great grandson Phoenix Jump. Eugene retired from Huron Valley Steel after 25 years of service; he was a long-time member of Gateway Church of Christ in Southgate and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to go hunting and fishing. Visitation Sunday 3 – 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd (Corner of Goddard). Funeral service Monday 12 pm at the funeral home. The interment will be on Tuesday at 12 pm at Christian Memorial Gardens West in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
