Esther Marie Bodner

Born in Detroit, Esther was the daughter of Joseph & Caroline (Padilla) Serratos. She married the love of her life, Paul Bodner, on August 23, 1965. Sadly he preceded her in death August 17, 2013. A dedicated homemaker, Esther also at one time worked at Pennwalt in Riverview and Ottawa Silica. She was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockwood. Esther leaves to cherish her memory her children: John (Kim) Bodner of South Rockwood, Gary Bodner of Grapevine, Texas, David Bodner of Columbus, Ohio, Theresa (Timothy) Sims of South Lyon, Michigan and Paul (Tina) Bodner of Rockwood. She will also be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren: Robert Bodner, Curtis Bodner, Amber Bodner, Joshua Bodner, Logan Bodner, Neil Bodner, David Mink, Candice Mink, Michael Sims, Connor Bodner, Dominic Bodner, Angelina Bodner and a great grandson Remmington Pafford; as well as 2 brothers: Joseph (Mary) Serratos of Huron Township, Henry (Della) Serratos of Swanton, Ohio and two sisters: Theresa (David) Fisher of Fort Worth, Texas and Margaret Clapp of Rotunda, Florida. In addition to her husband and parents, Esther was preceded in death by a brother Robert Serratos.
