Kuczajda, Ernest. Age 87 of Allen Park. Born July 15, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan and died April 19, 2015 at his home in Allen Park. Beloved husband of 65 years to Barbara. Loving father of Deborah (the late Gary) Friedley, Donna Wilcoxson, Mark and Chris. Proud grandpa of Andrea, Danielle, Jeremy (Kelle) and David. Great grandpa of Logan. Dearest brother of Leona DaPra and Rita Rozum. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents August and Agnes (nee: Kudron) Kuczajda; two brothers Leonard and Thomas and two sisters Irene and Florence. Ernest served his country in the United States Army and retired from the Detroit Free Press after 45 years of service. Funeral service Thursday 12pm at The Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. Visitation Wednesday 2 - 8 pm. Interment Cadillac Memorial Gardens West Cemetery in Westland, MI.
