Enice Teslak

Enice Teslak was born on January 8, 1944 at 8:25am to Italian parents, Theresa and Mario Nicolis. She was a native Detroiter who started her schooling at S.S. Andrew and Benedict Grade School. She graduated from All Saints High School in Detroit in June of 1962. She worked her first job at R.L. Polk downtown Detroit. Enice began working at Mercy Maryhaven in July of 1989 and had worked as a cook in the kitchen until her retirement in 2009. She enjoyed baking, cooking, bowling, sewing, and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was very proud of all their accomplishments. Enice is survived by her loving children Christopher (Charlotte) Teslak, Deborah Ferrari, and Lauralee (Roger) Lambert. She was a proud grandmother of 8, Heather (Marcus) Salazar, Stephanie Lambert, Jennifer Ferrari, Elaine Teslak, John Ferrari, Paul Teslak, Roger Lambert Jr., Anna Teslak, and a great grandmother-to-be of Baby Boy Salazar. Enice is also survived by a sister, Dolores Nicolis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pulmonary Research Medicine Fund, USC San Diego Medical Center or to Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1540 Riverbank, Lincoln Park, MI 48146.
