Elizabeth Robinson

Born in Monroe, Elizabeth was the daughter of Alex and Laura (Marino) Kush. She married the love of her life, Donald Robinson, on September 29, 1956. A dedicated homemaker, Elizabeth also worked for over 31 years at Mercy-Memorial Hospital, retiring in 2003. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Altar Society and later St. Michael Catholic Church. Her hobbies included reading and doing Crossword Puzzles, but most of all she "lived for her grandchildren". Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory, Donald, her husband of the past 59 years; children: Sheryl Robinson of Monroe, Nancy (John) Jackson of Mio and Valerie (Ray) Moran of Monroe; four grandchildren: Jason Soto, Cody Jackson, Peyton Bollenberg and Alec Bollenberg; as well as two sister: Susan Smith of Monroe and Cecilia (O'Neil) DeJohn of Geneva, New York. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Louis Kush. Those wishing to make a make a memorial contribution in honor of Elizabeth are asked to consider the Humane Society of Monroe County.
