Elaine Richardson

Elaine Richardson, of Trenton, passed away July 17, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Dick Richardson. Loving mom of Janet, Rick (Karen) and Barbara. Cherished grandma of Elizabeth (Jeff), Caitlin, Stacey (Ben) and Hillary. Proud great grandma of Isabelle, J.J., Sam, Elliana and Colette. She is survived by many other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her sister and her parents.

Elaine was an avid sewer and made beautiful pieces. She would make clothes and donate them to the homeless shelters and women’s shelters in the local area. She was a longtime member at Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church. She was the founder of the Lincoln Park Little League Cheerleaders and coordinated the Miss Lincoln Park beauty pageant. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes – Trenton Chapel on Thursday July 20, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday July 21, 2023 at 11:00 am with Rev. David Montgomery officiating. Burial will take place immediately following at Michigan Memorial Park.
