Elaine Parker

Raised in Lincoln Park, Michigan, Elaine was the daughter of David and Myrtle (Baker) Lewis. A graduate of Lincoln Park High School, she then received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Central Michigan University. She married the love of her life, James Parker, on March 21, 1970. Elaine worked as a teacher for Grosse Ile High School until her retirement. A faithful member of Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church she also was active with the St. James rummage sale. Elaine enjoyed cooking as well as playing Bridge and Pinochle, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family.

Elaine leaves to cherish her memory, James, her husband of the past 52 years; children: James (Christy) Parker and Molly Parker; as well as four grandchildren: Emma, Abigail, Grace and Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother David Lewis and a son-in-law Matthew French.
