Elaine G. Kimler (Montroy)

Elaine Gaynelle Kimler (Montroy) from River Rouge, resident of Trenton these past 22 years, passed away October 28, 2024 at the age of 89. Daughter of the late Irene Louise Priehs Kimler and Matthew Kimler. Devoted wife of the late James D. Montroy. Cherished Mother of Heide Montroy, whom predeceded her in death, and of Antoinette Montroy-Farrell (David). Sacred Meemaw of Daniel E. Vasquez (Lily), and of Anastasia Montroy-Dubyak. Proud Great-Meemaw to Anasofia Reina Vasquez. Elaine was the Loving Auntie of Pamela Cannon and Colette Walsh (Joseph) and Great Aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was also beloved like a second mother to Toni York and Cyndi Earles. Elaine’s truest treasure was spending time with her family making cherished memories. Elaine will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral arrangements for Elaine have been entrusted to the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48183. A memorial Mass is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Our Lady of the Scapular (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel) located at 976 Pope John Paul II Ave., Wyandotte, MI 48192 in Elaine’s honor. The Vigil will begin at 10:00 a.m., and the Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. There will be a luncheon immediately following Mass. Please see the family for more details.
