Elaine C. Oswald, resident of Taylor for 60 years, passed away April 25, 2022. Loving wife of the late Leo F. Oswald. Dear mother of Theresa (the late Scott) Burgor, Ronald Oswald, and Daniel (Alma) Oswald. Cherished grandmother of Theresa, Jessica, Stephanie, David, Kali, Jamie, Joseph and Catherine. Proud great grandmother of Brooklyn and Luca. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo, her parents, Merril and Leona Murphy, and her siblings, James Murphy, Dorothy Murphy and Sylvia Vella. She is survived by her sister, Joann Volansky, many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Elaine enjoyed wood finishing and staining wood projects. She crocheted from time to time. She was an avid traveler and loved to see different places. She most of all, loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
