Edward S. Gardulski

Edward S. Gardulski of Southgate, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the age of 80 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of 56 ½ years to Patricia Gardulski. Loving father of the late Michael E. Gardulski and Paul J. (Kimberly) Gardulski. Cherished grandfather of Ethan E. Gardulski. Dear brother of Amelia (Bruce) Schneider and Juliane (Gregory) Krawczyk. Dearest brother-in-law of Bernadine (Ron) Danowski and Cecile Fredericks. Caring uncle of many nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Joan Gardulski. He was a dedicated member of Elba Mar Boat Club in Grosse Ile, MI, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and an honored member of the American Legion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation for Edward will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chape of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. There will be a rosary held on Sunday evening at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection will take place the following day, Monday, August 26, 2024 at St. Pius X Catholic Church located at 14101 Superior St., Southgate, MI 48195, 9:30 a.m. In State and 10:00 a.m. Mass. Following the Mass, the Downriver Veteran’s Honor Guard will perform military honors outside of church. Edward will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
