Edward Frank Bender

Edward Frank Bender, age 77 of Brownstown, formerly of Monroe, passed away at 3:15 pm on Tuesday, August 29th 2017 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, after being hospitalized for 8 months with complications due to Sepsis. Born February 16, 1940 in Monroe, Edward was the son of Frank and Genevieve (Swiderski) Bender. A 1958 graduate of Monroe Catholic Central High School he then went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Edward worked as a Computer Programmer for Jones Transfer Trucking Company. He later owned and operated several computer consulting companies. Edward married Billie Post on July 1, 1991. Edward is survived by, Billie, his wife of the past 26 years; a step son Christopher Hall; a sister Nancy (John) Bender-Cole; niece Renee Brooks and nephew David Brooks. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his parents.
