Edward Butch Kowalski

Edward “Butch” Kowalski was born on April 12, 1944 in Wyandotte, Michigan and died on August 20, 2022 at the age of 78; he was of Trenton and formerly of Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of the late Cherie. Proud dad of Stanley (Fiona), Stephen (Nora) and Scott. Proud Dzia-Dzia of Annie and to Finn and Kaitlin. Dearest brother of the late Jeanne and to her husband Walt and the late Shirley. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Edward was also preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Sophia (Zmiewski) Kowalski. He will be missed by his dogs Ruby and Emmie. Visitation in on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm with a Vigil Service on Wednesday at 5 pm; both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Edward will lie in state at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy Thursday 10:30 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor his life may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
