Gallaway, Edward A; age 97 of Trenton died on March 13, 2016 surrounded by family. Beloved husband of the late Martha. Loving father of Edward (Patricia) of Hudson, FL, Dennis (Delores) of Mission Viejo, CA, Margaret (the late Charles) Sawicki of Trenton, MI. Marilynn (Gerald) Lange of Brownstown, MI, David (Nancy) of Brighton, MI and Ronald (Marie) of Walnut, CA. Ed is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and1 great great granddaughter soon to be born. He is also survived by 1 brother Richard (Mary) of Howell, MI and 1 sister Almeda Lima of Traverse, FL. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers James and Lloyd and 2 sisters Dorothy and Irene, also our little angel Chloe Gallaway. Ed retired after 38 1/2 years in 1975 from Trenton Engine-Chrysler Corp as General Plants Manager, a job he loved to this day. Ed was a published author of 2 books regarding the auto industry; they were titled Accountability and Masters of Deception. Visitation is Wednesday 3 - 9 pm with a Rosary and Sharing Service Wednesday 7 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Ed will lie in state Thursday 9:30 am at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Trenton until time of Funeral Liturgy at 10 am. Interment Lake Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trenton Food Pantry.
