Edna M. Cairl

Edna M. Cairl. Age 70, of Flat Rock, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 in her home. She was born August 13, 1944 in Claiborne County, Tennessee to James and Hallie (Leach) Guy. Edna married Lannie R. Cairl Sr. in Monroe, MI. Sadly, he preceded her in death on August 21, 1990. Edna enjoyed reading, working on puzzles and especially spending time with her grandkids. Surviving are her 3 children; James O. (Denise) Cairl of Barton City, MI, Lannie R. Cairl Jr. of Monroe, MI and Theresa M. (Doug) Daniels of Brownstown, MI, siblings; Roy Guy, James Guy, Richard Guy, Larry Guy, Glenn Guy and Aleen King, grandchildren; Aaron, Heather, Tyler, Bailey, Gavin, Robbie, Brandon, Christy, Kelsey, Lannie and Melanie and 1 great grandchild; Parker Daniels. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Lannie Sr., infant son Howard Lee Cairl, parents James and Hallie Guy and siblings Charles Guy, Dewey Guy, Ulis Guy, Trecie Hazeltine, Elsie Yeary and Faye Stacy. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-9pm and Wednesday from 2-9pm at The Ford Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 23620 N. Huron River, Rockwood. Edna's Funeral service will take place Thursday 10am at the funeral home. Pastor BJ McDaniel from Frenchtown Missionary Baptist Church, Monroe will officiate. Interment Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
