Edgar William "Bill" Heinrich Ii

Edgar William “Bill” Heinrich II, of Grosse Ile, passed away September 19, 2021. Loving husband of Patricia for 65 wonderful years. Father of Gar (Rita) Heinrich, Todd (Susan) Heinrich, Heidi Heinrich, and Peter (Michelle) Heinrich. Proud grandfather of Robert and Eva Heinrich. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Evelyn Heinrich, and his sister Winifred (Heinrich) Porter. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, where was the chief engineer on a tugboat. Having lived on Grosse Ile all of his life, he was a lifelong member of the Grosse Ile Yacht Club and an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a member of Grosse Ile Historical Society and Grosse Ile Nature and Land Conservancy. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Bill to Grosse Ile Historical Society or the Grosse Ile Nature and Land Conservancy.
