Click on the tribute wall above to view the recording of the service celebrating Earl's life. Born in Detroit, Earl was the son of Teofil and Helen (Slanec) Szostek. A graduate of Chadsey High School, he faithfully served our country in the United States Army. Earl married the love of his life, Maureen Coudret on April 12, 1969. Earl leaves to cherish his memory, Maureen, his wife of the past 52 years; children: Paul (Julie) Szostek, Jeff (Amy) Szostek, David (Christie) Szostek, Christine (Dino) Tinajero and Joseph (Andrea) Szostek; grandchildren: Ciara, Aaron, Tyler, Cody, Noah, Aiden, Alexis, Chance, Chase and Alexander; as well as two siblings: Diane (Frank) Wojkowski and Ronald Szostek. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; a son Richard Joseph Szostek and a granddaughter Haley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl's memory to either American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
