View Video Tribute Mr. Kettinger was the son of Leon & Eliza(Duvall)Kettinger. He married Ellen Bomia May 11, 1946 at St John Catholic Church in Monroe. Mr. Kettinger was employed 25 years at Monroe Auto Equipment & worked at General Motors in Toledo, where he retired after 20 yrs. He served in the Army Ssignal Corp as a radio intercept operator, Sergeant TEC 3, from July 25, 1942 to Jan 12, 1946, including 16 months overseas in Italy. Mr. Kettinger enjoyed the outdoors, expecially gardening, hunting & fishing. He was an avid reader. Surviving are his wife; a son Timothy; 2 daughters, Nancy(Rick)Feick of LaSalle & Patricia(Frank)Green of Monroe; a granddaughter Christine E. Feick of Ann Arbor; a brother Elwin(Shirley) of Monroe; a sister Wilma Williams of Monroe; & several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents & 2 brothers Wellington & Marvin.
