E. Ruby Bennett

E. Ruby Bennett, age 90 of Lincoln Park, passed away peacefully September 30th, 2022.

Ruby was born March 2nd, 1932 in Big Laurel, NC. Loving wife of the late Wayne Marcus Bennett. Dear mother of Robin (Kermit) Burke and Steve (Caitlyn) Bennett. Proud grandmother of Kermit III and Michala Burke. Also survived by her sister Christine Tackett and many nieces and nephews.

Sadly, in addition to her husband, Ruby was preceded in death by brothers Kenneth Clyde Lewis and Wayne Keith Roberts, brother and sister-in-law Billy “Joe” Tackett and Nancy Lewis.

In addition to her kind heart and strong faith, Ruby will always be remembered for her rich heritage and love of Bluegrass music.

Visitation will take place on Sunday October 2nd, 2022 from 1:00pm until time of Service 5:00pm, at the Trenton Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd. Pastor Lloyd Locklear to officiate.
