Dr Lidia Rosioru

Dr Lidia Rosioru, age 90, of Monroe, MI., formerly of Bucharest, Romania, passed away early Friday May 17, 2013 at Medilodge of Monroe, she had been in declining health. Lidia was born on November 11, 1922 in Bucharest to Jorgu and Viorina (Pastrscan) Bosdlnicu; she attended high school, college and medical school in Romania where she earned her doctorate in Pediatric Medicine. Lidia married George Rosioru in February of 1936; he preceded her in death in April of 1946. Lidia practiced medicine in Romania for 35 years before moving to the United States to become a free person. Lidia moved to Monroe, Michigan in 1987 where she lived and attended St George Serbian Orthodox Church of Monroe. Lidia is survived by her special friends Maria and Cornel Bognan of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister, Cornelia Possa.
