Douglas Waxer

Douglas Waxer, age 63 of Allen Park, passed away June 26, 2024.

Born May 3, 1961 in Detroit, Douglas was the son of Sanford and Eleanor (Grant) Waxer. He married the love of his life, Mamy Ray, in 2002. Sadly she preceded him in death June 11, 2014. Douglas worked for Jack Cooper Transport for over 30 years. A member of the Teamsters Union, he was a massive Detroit Red Wings fan, diehard Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed singing with his friends as well as playing golf, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Douglas leaves to cherish his memory his children Sara Waxer and Dylan Waxer; as well as a grandson Abel Waxer and granddaughter Violet Ray. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
