Dorothy J. Mckee

Dorothy was born on September 13, 1934 in Wyandotte, Michigan and died on October 19, 2019 at Beaumont Hospital Trenton at the age of 85; she was of Trenton and River Rouge. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. McKee, Sr. Loving mother of Karen (Keith) Grzincic, Sandra (Brian) Ralston, Marjorie (Jeff) Renaud, Susan (Chris) Reno, Jennifer (Art) Aproff, Robert, Jr. (Jennifer) McKee, the late Stephen McKee, the late Daniel McKee and the late James McKee. Loving mother-in-law to Melinda McKee. Proud grandma of Andrew, Elissa (Jeremy), Stephen, Stephanie (Matt), Evan, Conner, Samantha, Kyle, Daniel (Kalie), Sydney, Patrick, Nicholas, Sydney, Joshua, Olivia, Samuel, Sophie and Sean. Beloved sister-in-law of Shirley Horvath and Patricia Lynch. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mabel Girrbach, four brothers and two sisters. Visitation is on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 3 pm – 8 pm with a Rosary on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 7 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Dorothy will lie in state on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Trenton until the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 11 am; Fr. Stephen Rooney will officiate. Memorial contributions to honor Dorothy’s life may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
