Dorothy was born on December 13, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan and died on July 31, 2021 at the age of 96; she was of Allen Park and formerly of Dearborn Heights. Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mom of Darlene (James) Taylor and Diane (Todd) Felt. Proud grandma of Ronald (Michelle), Kimberly (Matt), Madison (Bradley) and Courtney and great grandma of Trevor and Amelia. Dearest sister of Gladys Sykes. Also survived by other loving family and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Ada (nee: Yeates) Robinson and one brother Gerald Earl Robinson. Dorothy was a graduate of Western High School and retired after working many years for Wayne County Government. Visitation is on Wednesday, August 4, 2021from 3 PM – 9 PM at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). The funeral service is on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 10 am at the funeral home; Chaplain Marti Boynton Tamaroglio will officiate. Interment will be at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan. Memorial contributions to honor Dorothy’s life may be made to the Dearborn First United Methodist Church, 22124 Garrison St., Dearborn, MI 48124.
