Dorothy Gray-Luellen was a proud business owner of Certified Alignment. She started her business in Southwest Detroit in 1991 with her late husband David. They had no help, no safety net, no place to go if it didn't work out. It was sink or swim. Against all odds they took chances on success took nothing & made it everything. They grew their company, hired hard working mechanics and that all loved & respected Dorothy & David. After the loss of David, with her soft hands and a strong heart, the business continued to flourish. Dorothy was simply amazing and the epitome of a boss! Simply put she was a beautiful bad ass! She was a no bullshit; straight shooter and she would do anything for her family and loved ones. Her tough love molded her daughters into tough women who helped along with the family business & kept the doors open. She wasn't the average homemaker, mother, sister or grandmother. She was more than that, she was extraordinary, a spitfire of a women with a flame that no one could compare to. A legendary person who made her mark not only on her family, but anyone who knew her. If you had the pleasure of meeting Dorothy, you respected her. It's that simple. Dorothy was one of a kind. She was the rock that the foundation of her legacy will be built upon. A name that will never be forgotten for generations to come. Thank you, Dorothy, for showing us a true success story and allowing so many to be a part of your world.
