Donna M. Venier

Born in Detroit, Donna was the daughter of Martin & Vera (Buesnell) Lizyness. She married the love of her life, Leonard Venier on August 31, 1946. A dedicated homemaker, Donna was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Donna leaves to cherish her memory, Leonard, her husband of the past 68 years; children: Anne (John) Bacarella of South Rockwood, Donna J. (Bob) VanDeCar of Carleton, Linda (Jim) Laurain of Carleton, Joyce (Craig) Ritchie of Flat Rock and Lenny (Marie) Venier of South Rockwood; grandchildren: Lisa, Ken, Amee, Sara, Anne and Russell; great grandchildren: James, Katie, Jack, Ben, Jacob, Claire, Grace, Andrew, Benjamin and Simon; as well four brothers: Martin (Helen) Lizyness of Trenton, Harry (Janice) Lizyness of Rockwood, William (Genevieve) Lizyness of Rockwood and Robert (Sandy) Lizyness of Petersburg; and two sisters: Dorothy (Edmund) Odette of Flat Rock and Janet Ewaniuck of Trenton. In addition to her parents she was precede in death by two brothers: James Lizyness and Jack Lizyness. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
