Donna Jo Stangis

Donna Jo Stangis, age 83 of Allen Park, passed away on February 8, 2023. She was the beloved mother of Sherri Stangis, Dawn (Butch) Laginess, and Joni Stangis; cherished grandmother of Olivia Juliani, Mason Laginess, Eve Juliani, and Kylie Laginess; and dear sister to Joseph Suski, Marlene Suski, and Lynda Davis. Donna is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Bernice Suski, as well as her husband of 58 years, Jay Stangis.

Donna loved volunteering at Beaumont Dearborn. She enjoyed gardening and reading as well as cooking delicious meals and baking wonderful treats for her family.

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, February 10th from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A memorial mass will take place on Saturday, February 11th at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. There will be a gathering period starting at 10:30 AM and Mass will begin at 11:00 AM.
