Donna J. Dufour

Donna was born on December 4, 1937 to Wesley J. and Cula M. (Stiles) Hanna at home in LaSalle Twp., Michigan. On March 3, 1956 she was married to Joseph D. Dufour by Arnold Lajiness who was the LaSalle Twp. Justice of the peace. Joseph died on January 23, 2009. She was preceded in death by her children Joseph D. Dufour, Jr. and Daniel H. Dufour, her sister Beatrice E. Geiman of Taylor, Michigan and her brother E. Richard Hanna of Kingsport, Tennessee. Donna was a homemaker who loved working in the yard and playing with her pets; she also loved taking care of her family. After her husband passed she lived with her niece Cherylann Meinhart. Also surviving are her two grandchildren Julie and Kristy, her great grandchildren, one niece Tina Meinhart, one nephew AJ Meinhart as well as other loving family and friends. Visitation is on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm both at The Allore Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 203 E. Elm Ave., Monroe. Interment Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor Donna's life may be made to the Humane Society of Monroe County. To share a memory visit www.martenson.com
