Donald Taft Morrison

Donald Taft Morrison, age 90 of Monroe, MI, formerly of Massillon, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday November 24th, 2023.

Don was born July 29th, 1933 in Massillon, OH to the late Clem and Lucille Morrison. Don was a 1951 graduate of Massillon High School and later attended the Ohio State University. He was a devoted member of Epworth United Methodist Church while in Massillon. And after moving to Monroe, MI, a devoted member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir.

Don had a passion for bowling. He was an avid, lifelong Ohio State University football fan and always looked forward to his trips to Vegas with his lifelong friend, the late Jack McCollum. He will always be remembered as a gentle, kind man, and will be greatly missed by all.

Don leaves behind to cherish his memory, sister-in-law Sharon Morrison, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his siblings Robert, Richard, Kenneth, and Alice.

Burial services will take place at 1:00pm on Saturday December 2nd, 2023, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon, OH
