Donald Ray Claypool

Donald Ray Claypool, of Taylor, passed away August 16, 2024. Beloved husband of Fay for 62 beautiful years. Loving father of Donald R. (Therese) Claypool, and Thomas L. (Lora) Claypool. Cherished grandfather of Andrea, Amanda, Hannah and Reagan. Proud great grandfather of Elizabeth and Leland. Dear brother of Pat Gray, Mike Rigo and the late Thomas Claypool. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Claypool and Betty Rigo.

Donald enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a classic car enthusiast.

Visitation will take place at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A masonic service will take place Tuesday evening at 7pm. Visitation will continue at The Allen Park Chapel on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 10:00am. Entombment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park immediately following the service.
