Donald L. Plummer

Donald was born on September 27, 1944 in Wyandotte, Michigan and died at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital on November 17, 2016; he was of Southgate. Beloved husband of the late Wilma "Donna". Loving dad of Donald, Lisa Plummer (Dave) and Scott. Proud grandpa of Brandon, Trevor and Everett. Dearest brother of Sharon (Pat) Charney-Lane and Deborah Plummer. Also survived by other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Beulah (nee: Collins) Plummer. Donald graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1962 and was a retired Teamster who spent his entire working life as a truck driver. Earlier in his life he enjoyed hunting and playing golf. His love in life was his family and he enjoyed watching sports. Visitation is Sunday from 3 – 9 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard) where the funeral service will be on Monday at 12 pm. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery in Flat Rock. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
