Donald 'Jesse' Bradley

Born in Toledo, Don was the son of Melford and Elizabeth (Hart) Bradley. He faithfully served his country with the United Stated Army in Korea from 1951 until 1954. He then married the love of his life, Sally Carnes, in 1955. Sadly she preceded him in death February 2014. Don worked as a Chemical Engineer for Fiske Brothers Oil Refinery for over 30 years, retiring in 1995 and was a 40 year member of the OCAW Local 7-346. In his retirement, Don enjoyed being a carrier for the Toledo Blade. Don was proud very of his military service and was life member of VFW Post 9445 and member of American Legion Post 110, having served as post commander at both. As a licensed commercial pilot, he belonged to the Quiet Birdmen Pilot's Club. Don also enjoyed singing and playing quitar, especially country music, and would often sit in with his friends entertaining local venues. In addition he enjoyed dancing with his wife. People would gather around them at family weddings watching them do the Jitterbug. Don also enjoyed spending time playing golf. Don leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Kerry Kamalay; a granddaughter Dylan Kamalay; as well as his siblings: Delores (Dean) Knopp, Robert (Catherine) Bradley and Michael Bochnovich; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother Melford Bradley. Memorial contribution in honor of Don may be made to the American Legion Post 110.
