Donald J. Bondy

Born in Ann Arbor, Donald was the son of Edward and Loretta (Labo) Bondy. A 1952 graduate of Airport High School, he also served with both the Army National Guard and Air National Guard. Donald married the love of his life, Barbara Sutherland, on September 26, 1955. A dedicated husband and father he worked at Monsanto Chemical, Chrysler Corporation and Guardian Industries. Donald was a faithful member of Evangel Baptist Church in Taylor. He enjoyed fishing and hunting but his most cherished times were those spent with his family. Donald leaves to cherish his memory, Barbara, his wife of the past 63 years; children: Tim (Terri) Bondy, Todd (Michele) Bondy and Troy (Deana) Bondy; a daughter-in-law Bethany Bondy; 14 grandchildren: Jeremy, Kelsey, Janessa, Whitney, Tyler, Lukas, Shelby, Lindsay, Megan, Mallory, Josiah, Zakary, Melissa and Travis; 4 great grandchildren: Noah, Ethan, Deacon and Dane; as well as his siblings: Barbara Metzger, Sharon Bondy, Bill (Janice) Bondy and Kathy (Donald) Abrams. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents, a son Thomas Bondy and 2 brothers: Beldren Bondy and Lou Bondy.
