Donald H. Moran

Don was born and raised in Detroit on November 16, 1960 and passed away peacefully in Dearborn at the age of 63 on October 10, 2024. A dedicated family man, Don found joy in the simple pleasures of life — whether being involved in sports as a coach or a spectator, traveling with his family, or lending a helping hand to those around him. Don's passion for his community inspired him to serve as a reserve for the Wayne County Sheriff Department. He devoted his life to caring for his loved ones. Don was also a proud Teamster, committed to his work where he was held with the utmost respect for his dedication and integrity.

Don leaves behind his beloved wife, Renee. His children Rachel Korycki (Scott), Michelle Romero (Benjamin), Donnie (Alyssa), Natalie (Randy) & Steven. Grandchildren Michael, Lana, and Ophelia. Parents, James Frank and Darlene Craig.  One brother, Darryl (Jeanne) Moran.  His sister, Karen Frank as well as several nieces and nephews.  Don was preceded in death by his brother James Frank.

His legacy of kindness, loyalty, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held for Don on Friday, October 18, 2024, 1:00 – 8:00 PM Martenson Funeral Home 10915 Allen Road Allen Park MI.48101 with a Sharing & Remembrance Service at 6:00 PM.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Michigan Conference of Teamsters Welfare Fund Hall 203 & 204 located at 2700 Trumbull Detroit, MI 48216 from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM with a service at 3:30 PM.
