Donald G. Lemerand

Born March 12, 1944 in Monroe, Donald was the son of George and Eunice (Beuabien) Lemerand. He was married to Michele King on July 5, 1979. Sadly she preceded him in death October 21, 2013. Donald worked as an Electrician for DT & I Railroad for many years retiring in 2004. An avid hunter and fisherman Donald loved sports, especially football and hockey. He was a member of the DT & I Old Timers and past member of the Rockwood Moose. Donald leaves to cherish his memory his children: Annette (Mark) Goodfellow of Allen Park, Georgette (Jeffrey) Cheresko of Taylor, Eddie Gilland of Newport and Jennifer (her fiance' Don Squire) Gilland of Newport; grandchildren: Kyle Cheresko, Corey Webb, Alexandria Gilland, Andrew Webb, Eddie Gilland III, Kayla Cheresko, Ryan Gilland, Emily Goodfellow and Ross Goodfellow; as well 2 great grandchildren: Brayden Webb and Greison Gilland and a sister Marie (John) McKee of Rockwood. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother Ron Lemerand.
