Dolores May Lozon

Born in Ecorse, Dolores was the daughter of Leo and Hazel (Clark) Mathews. A dedicated homemaker, she also had worked for Wyandotte General Hospital. Dolores was a past member of the Moose Lodge in Rockwood and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Brownstown. Dolores leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Rose Marie (Steve) Bojarski; as well as 5 grandchildren: Angela (Mitch) Langton, Tammy (Marcus) Wilcox, Patricia (Jason) Hammack, Rebecca (Charles) Strimpel and Jennifer (Michael) Comings; 17 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Sadly she was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Weisbecker; 3 brothers Robert Mathews, Harold Mathews and Donald Mathews; as well as 2 sisters: Mildred Mathews and Stella Mathews and 2 grandchildren. I am free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following paths God made for me I took his hand I heard him call Then turned, and bid farewell to all I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to sing, to play Tasks left undone must stay that way I found my peace... at close of play And if my parting left a void Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
