Dolores Anne Weber

WEBER, DOLORES ANNE (Kauffman); born October 9, 1931, in Ecorse, MI; died September 7, 2013, while visiting her daughter in Georgia. Most recently resided at Maple Heights in Allen Park, previously spent many years at her vacation home in Cedar, MI. Predeceased by husband of 55 years, Howard Sylvester Weber; and her daughter, Rebecca Anne. Survived by children, Ramona Marie Beard, Suzanne Elizabeth (Donagh) Kelly, Larry Francis (Linda), and Kristy Jane (Dennis) Mahalak; grandchildren, John (Tracy), Joel (Jami), Melissa, Heather, Tara, Alex, Connor, Niall, Wayne, Emily (Pat), Justin (Ashley) and Karley; 12 great grandchildren; cousin, Ron Sheck; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom loved to talk and tell stories of her German grandparents and her childhood days growing up in Ecorse, her favorite little city. She was known for her unrivaled memory and never forgot an event, special date or birthday. She also loved to laugh and have a good time, especially dancing and singing in harmony with our dad, creating cherished memories for us kids. Mom was known for baking the best apple and cherry pies and red velvet cakes. She was a devoted wife, niece, mother, and grandmother, and always made you feel she was on your side no matter what. With a ready smile to greet everyone she met, you could always count on her to make you feel at home, welcome, and special in her presence, she was just that friendly! She will be deeply missed, but always in our hearts and loved "a bushel and a peck, with a hug around her neck" forever.
