SHAW, Dillon T.

Age 33, of Wyandotte, passed away on January 22, 2025.

Beloved son of Thomas Shaw and Amy Lesner. Cherished brother of Meghan (Uribi Beaumont) Shaw, Claire Gomez, Brad Gomez, and Reyna Gomez. Devoted cat dad to his fur companions, Gus and Wally. Treasured grandson of Joan Lesner and Nancy Souke. Dillon is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother John Shaw; his grandfather, Hugh Lesner; his grandparents, John E. Sr. and Carroll Shaw; and his uncle, John E. Shaw.

Dillon was a talented and creative soul who found joy in making music, writing poetry, and gardening. He was a dedicated special education teacher, a passionate volunteer with The Greening of Detroit, and proudly served with AmeriCorps. Above all, he cherished time with his younger sister, Claire, whom he lovingly called the light of his life.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, Trenton Chapel on Thursday, January 30, from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm. A funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
