Dennis "Machine Gun" Thompson

Dennis A. Tomich aka Dennis “Machine Gun” Thompson of the iconic Detroit punk rock band MC5 passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the age of 75. Beloved son of the late John and Leona Tomich. Loving brother of Donna (the late Peter E.) Peslis. Dear uncle of Cindy, Terry, Matthew, Melanie, Monica, Pete, Jr., and Melissa. Dennis was preceded in death by his brother Peter Tomich and his longtime companion Patrice M. Patrick. He is also survived by his recently found son Chris. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. There will be a memorial service held that same evening at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m.
