Dennis Glenn Schooley

September 7, 1955 — September 20, 2024

Dennis Glenn Schooley

Born in Detroit, a graduate of Seaholm High School in Birmingham, he married the love of his life, Sharon Garvin, on May 8, 1976. Dennis worked as an Environmental Services Supervisor for Clean Harbors Environmental for over 15 years, retiring in 2021. He then took a seasonal position with the State of Michigan at Sterling State Park, enjoying morning sunrises as he cleaned the beach. He was a long-time member of Huron Valley Reformed Church and most recently had been attending the Flat Rock United Methodist Church. Dennis was a member of the Monroe Lodge #27 Free and Accepted Mason, the Motown Hog Chapter 4375-Taylor and the Howell Gun Club. He enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding and participating in charity ride fundraisers, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Dennis leaves to cherish his memory, Sharon, his wife of the past 48 years; his children: Dennis Schooley and Donald (Kristin) Schooley; 2 grandchildren: Joslyn and Shelby; as well as 6 siblings: Rosalie (Jack) LeRoy, Robert “Bill” (Kathy) Schooley, Mary Kathryn Hostein, Carol Anne Hartley, Susan (Raymond) Bugg and Elizabeth (Scott) Anthony. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents.
