Dennis Alan Heatherly, 63, of Trenton, Michigan, passed away on December 19, 2023. He was born on November 20, 1960, in Riverview, Michigan. Dennis was a loving husband to Debbie Heatherly, and a devoted father to Shannon Heatherly, Megan Budzyn (Nick), Shaun Heatherly, Amanda Pitts (Kyle), Ryan Heatherly, and a proud grandfather to Kolt Pitts, Isabelle Rosamond and Ricky Netherton.

Dennis had a deep passion for the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. He found solace and joy in nature, and his love for these activities was evident to all who knew him. Dennis was known for his adventurous spirit and his ability to navigate the wilderness with ease.

In addition to his love for the outdoors, Dennis had a close bond with his family. He cherished the time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. Dennis was a pillar of strength and support for his family, always there to lend a helping hand or offer words of wisdom.

Dennis attended Riverview High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and cultivated his love for learning. He valued education and encouraged his children and grandchildren to pursue their academic goals.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ann Heatherly. He leaves behind his siblings, David Heatherly and Joan King, who will continue to cherish his memory.

The loss of Dennis is deeply felt by all who knew him. His love for the outdoors, his devotion to his family, and his warm and caring nature will be remembered and cherished by those whose lives he touched. May his soul rest in peace.

Visitation is on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 2 pm to 8 pm at The Ridge Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 2272 West Jefferson, Trenton. There will be a service to celebrate his life on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 5 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to honor his life may be made to the family and payable to his wife, Deborah Heatherly
