Dennis A. Darin

Dennis Anthony Darin, age 92 of Grosse Ile, MI, passed away on December 13, 2022. Beloved husband to Patricia (Coyne) Darin of 16 years.

Loving father to Ann (Alan) Summers, Laura (late Richard) Wirtel, Donna Darin-Volz, Noreen (James) Chessrown, and Catherine (late Kenneth) Chupurdy. Loving step-father to Deborah Dunne, Therese (Donald) Ledbetter, and Kathleen Labadie. Loving grandfather to 16 grandchildren. Loving great-grandfather to 2 great-grandchildren. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Mary Darin. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor (Jack) Macpherson and his late wife, Joan.

Visitations will take place December 19, 2022 at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Road, Trenton, MI 48183 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Second visitation will take place the next day, December 20, 2022, from 1:00 – 8:00 pm with a rosary service at 6 pm. Funeral mass will take place Wednesday. December 21, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 21599 Parke Ln, Grosse Ile Township, MI 48138 at 10:00 am with a 9:30 am in state. Mass will conclude at the church and cremation will occur afterwards.
