Denise Batson

Click on the tribute wall above to view Denise’s video tribute. Batson, C. Denise, age 66, of Grosse Ile, went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2021 after a long battle with dementia. Beloved wife of Wayne. Loving mother to Ryan (Sarah), Kristen (John) and Katie (Erick). Dearest Mamaw/Memaw to Miles, Tegan, Reznor, Wyatt, Natalie, Davis, and LJ. She is preceded in death by her parents Bobby and Georgia Compton and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Walter and Helen Batson. Denise was a graduate of Lincoln Park High School and an alumna of the Oakwood Hospital Radiological and Technology School. She was married to Wayne for 43 years and a resident of Grosse Ile, Michigan for 40 years. Denise was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Taylor, MI. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Beacon Baptist Church Mission Fund. A graveside service will take place on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. All are invited to meet at the cemetery just inside the gates to the cemetery.
