Demetria "Metring" Berdin

Demetria “Metring” was born on August 14, 1930 in Tubigon, Philippines and died on January 23, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan at the age of 89; she was of Miami and Orlando, Florida. Metring also spent a lot of time visiting her children and traveled to Toronto, Windsor and Ohio as well as the metro Detroit area. Beloved wife of the late Teodoro “Doring”. Very loving mom of the late Candido Berdin (Susa Berdin), the late Joseph Berdin, Rudolfo Berdin (Sol Berdin), Eupretes Berdin Basan (Alex Basan), Marlowe Berdin Bernaldez (Jun Bernaldez), Margie Berdin Luayon (Romeo Luayon), Judith Berdin Penales (Rico Penales), Russell Berdin, Jose Berdin, Tommy Berdin (Josephine Berdin), Rhell Berdin (Daisy Berdin), Ronel Berdin and Zusset Berdin Yosoya (Vlademer Yosoya). She was a proud grandmother and great grandmother. Also survived by her brother as well as many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Visitation is on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 2 – 9 pm with a funeral service on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 4 pm both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Memorial contributions to honor Metring’s life may be made as the donor chooses.
