Deloris Amrhein

Born May 5, 1935 in Monroe, Deloris was the daughter of Edward and Elnora (Eby) Weisbecker. She was married to Lloyd McLaughlin in 1953. Sadly he preceded her in death in 1981. Deloris then married Howard Amrhein in 1984. He preceded her in death in 2006. A dedicated homemaker, she worked at L & M Packing, Lincoln Consolidated Schools, and she ran Amrhein Strawberry Farm with her husband Howard. Deloris was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maybee and the St. Anne’s Guild, the Tri-County 2 Cylinder Club, the Maybee VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge in Ypsilanti.

Deloris leaves to cherish her memory her children: Dennis (Sandy) McLaughlin and Marlene Hilyard; grandchildren: Ryan (Erica) Hilyard, Jason (Jamie) Hilyard, Chad (Beth) Hilyard, Rebecca Hilyard, Casey (Deanna) McLaughlin and Kyle (Jaymee) McLaughlin; as well as 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by 8 siblings: Jacob Weisbecker, Ben Weisbecker, Edward Weisbecker Jr., Stanley Weisbecker, Barbara Metz, Mary Warner, Alice Weisbecker and Joann Weisbecker; as well as a son-in-law Thomas Hilyard
