Born in Monroe, Sue was the daughter of Roy and Mary (Adkins) Gose. She married the love of her life, Roy V. Cook, on June 27, 1964 here in Monroe. A dedicated homemaker, Sue also was a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant for many years and also had worked at B & M Industries. She was a member of the Ladies Club for over 50 years, meeting monthly to socialize and have dinner together. Sue enjoyed shopping, going to the casino, golfing and traveling to Florida and Up North, but her most treasured times were those spent with family. Sue leaves to cherish her memory, Roy V., her husband of the past 52 years; her children: Deborah Mosher of Monroe, Teresa Cook of Monroe, Richard (Alison) Cook of Hollywood, Florida, Jill (Dale) Lang of Monroe, Joann (Mike Root) Cook of Monroe and Scott Cook of Royal Oak; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as her brother Doug (Jill) Elliott of Monroe. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents; a son Thomas Cook; grandson Kyle Mosher and a sister Wanda Emerick. Sue's family would like give a special "Thank You" to Dr. Blair and the ICU staff of ProMedica Monroe Hospital, the staff of 3 south at ProMedica Monroe Hospital, Dr. Kabir, the staff of ProMedica Nursing Care Center and the staff at Fountainview of Monroe for the care given to Sue during her illness. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honor of Sue are asked to consider ProMedica Hospice.
