Della F. Martin

Born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, Della was the daughter of Joe and Bertha (Hurst) Carroll. She married Donald Drouillard in 1950. She then married John Martin in 1969. A dedicated homemaker, Della took great pride in tending to her Rose Garden, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Della leaves to cherish her memory her children: Nancy (Larry) Killion of Monroe, Jennifer (Joe) Day of Monroe, James Martin of Pennington Gap, Virginia, Sam (Christine) Martin of Hamilton, Ohio, June Lambrix of Carleton and Pat Cuykendall of Pennington Gap, Virginia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; as well as three sisters: Marie Owens of Ida, Bartie Carroll of Keokee, Virginia, Mary Lou Rose of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and her ex-husband John Martin. Sadly she was preceded in death by two children: Sue Collins-Smith and Frank Drouillard; a brother C.B. Carroll; and three sisters Dorothy Wheeler, Iva Davis and Vada Rhotton.
