Delila "Lila" Phillips

Click on tribute wall above to view Lila's memorial video. Delila “Lila” Phillips, age 89 of Southgate, passed away peacefully July 12th, 2021. Born February 26th, 1932 to the late Thomas and Rose Perkins. Loving mother of Thomas (Andrea) Phillips, Karen (Thomas) Mettes, Steve (Dawn) Phillips, Jeff (Dawn) Phillips, Kara Phillips, and Carole (Dave) Cogar. Proud Nonnie of Mindy, Valerie, Marci, Amanda, Kelly, Matt, Kyle, Samantha, Chad, Stephanie, Haley, Marissa, Jeffrey, and great Nonnie of 18. In addition to her parents, Delila was preceded in death by her siblings Daisy and Bill. Lila was a proud member of Trenton Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday July 15th, 2021 from 12:00pm-9:00pm, Funeral Service Friday July 16th, 2021 1:00pm, at the Allen Park Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd.
