Debra Lynn Becker, age 55, of Trenton, passed away on Thursday, June 5th. She had been in poor health. Family and friends may call from 4:30-9pm, Monday June 9th at The Trenton Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. She will lie in state Tuesday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with services to follow at 10:30am. Burial will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Twp. Born November 11, 1958, in Highland Park, Debra was the daughter of Lanice and Elva Dean (Hughes) Hamilton and sister to Don. She was a 1977 graduate of Taylor Center High School. She married the love of her life, Gerard "Gary" Becker on February 9, 1980, in Melvindale, Michigan. Debra dedicated her life completely to her family and home. She was a lover of cats; She enjoyed gardening and crafts, and loved going walleye fishing and to rock concerts. She is survived by her loving children, daughter Melissa (Jon) White of Livonia, and son retired U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Shawn Becker of Newport.
