Deborah Elaine Shields

Deborah Shields, age 69 of Trenton, MI passed away April 10, 2023. Loving wife of the late Mark Thomas Shields. Cherished mother of Marcie Eden Bird, Tracie Lee Shields, the late Christopher Thomas Shields and Aimee Joy Shields. Proud grandmother of Thomas Earl Tackett, Chandler Lee Shields, Tara Eden Tackett, Andramada Madonna Caseopea Sosnowski, D’Ante Derrell Shields, Jaz’ Lyn Joy Shields, Marissa Belladonna Sosnowski, L’Monte Lawrence Wells, Lawrence Derrell Wells Jr. and great-grandmother of Grayson Kylo Ren Tackett and Logan Claire Tackett. Beloved sister of Tanya Parks, Linda Hance and the late John Smallwood. Preceded in death by her parents John and Joan Smallwood. Deborah was a nursing assistant of 35 years that loved people and taking care of their health and well being. She continued her education and received a bachelor's degree in accounting while working and taking care of her family. Deborah enjoyed playing cards, oceans and beaches. She also loved reading, writing poems and short stories, photography, her Thomas Kincade art, doing puzzles and spending time with friends and family.
