David R. Vandine

VanDine, David R. Age 68. November 5, 2009 of Berlin Twp. Beloved husband of Jean. Loving father of Jason of South Rockwood and Christopher (Christy) of Bristol, TN. Dearest grandfather of Nathan, Andrew and Matthew all of Bristol, TN. Son of Thelma of Brooksville, FL. Brother of Joseph (Evelyn) of Indianapolis, IN and Patricia (James) Ankney of Waterloo, IN. Also survived by 3 brothers-in-law, 7 sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his father Dean and 1 brother Walter. David was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. For the past 7 years he has spent much of his time participating in various community events, showing his support for our troops which was very important to him. He enjoyed being active in local parades and military displays as well as watching NASCAR, restoring classic cars and attending the Downriver and Woodward Dream Cruises. He will be missed.
