David Lee Whittenburg, Sr.

David Lee Whittenburg, Sr. of Trenton, Michigan passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of 32 years to Patricia Payment. Loving father of Jessica Whittenburg, David Whittenburg, Jr. (Briel Harper), Patrick Whittenburg, Kyle Whittenburg, and James Whittenburg. Cherished papa of Paris, Madelyn, and Isaac. Dear brother of Jim Whittenburg and Dan Whittenburg. Sweet son-in-law of Ina (the late Pete) Burbo. Survived by his darling cat Buddy.  Dave was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Olive Whittenburg, his brother Tom Whittenburg, and his most adored dog Diamond. He will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

Visitation for David will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Ford Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 23620 N. Huron River Drive, Rockwood, MI 48173. The service for Dave will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family in Dave's honor.
